Meditation & Mind-Body
Stress has a huge impact in causing and exacerbating many illnesses, therefore learning to manage the stress in your life is an important step toward better health. Through the use of meditation, guided imagery, relaxation, and mind-body techniques you can gain a greater understanding of both the stress response and the relaxation response, increase your sense of self-awareness, and make lasting positive changes in your life.
"I learned to meditate as a child, and I can't imagine life without it. Meditation has helped me to
navigate the traumas and challenges I've faced in my life, find healing, and manifest a
life that is truly aligned with my authentic self."

I'd love to share something new with you that I have enjoyed exploring in my own meditation practice - Binaural Beats Music.
So, what are binaural beats and how can they help deepen your meditation experience?
Binaural means "relating to both ears." When you simultaneously listen to two tones with slightly different frequencies in each ear, your brain interprets a so-called "beat" with a new frequency. As your brain adjusts to this new frequency, it changes your brain waves.
Today, binaural beats are produced with modern sound and audio mixing technologies, which results in music that has distinctive beat patterns and rhythm with two different frequencies mixed as one song. What makes it different from other types of music is that it is designed for the particular purpose of altering the listener's brainwave patterns.
Binaural beats music is often used for relaxation, meditation, focus and concentration, promoting creativity, sleep, reducing anxiety, managing pain, and other therapeutic purposes.
I've created a meditation practice for you that is infused with a beautiful piece of binaural beats music. This music is 11hz alpha-binaural-wave for stress reduction and relaxation.
I hope you enjoy it!

The meditation and relaxation techniques Nancy uses with her clients and students are all designed to enhance the body-mind connection. The body and the mind are constantly communicating through an intricate two-way communication system, and cannot be separated. The body expresses to the mind and the mind expresses to the body. A change in either the mind or the body causes a direct and immediate change in the other. The body-mind connection allows you to actively participate in the process of discovery, recovery, and personal transformation, as well as become more self-expressive, calm, and grounded.
Journal To The Self®Nancy is skilled in working with techniques that re-establish the awareness of the connection to the bodymind. Sessions with her will support your ability to relax at will and bring a greater balance to your nervous system. Nancy teaches group classes and works one-on-one with individuals using:
